Prab Jaswal Music

28 years old. Based in the UK and growing a few different areas of my life in music, technology and business. 

I'm a composer as part of Nottingham-based collective "Soundz of the City", focussed on completing and recording our first EP, collabing with a host of artists and singers. Soundz of the City plays around styles of Jazz, Neo-Soul, R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop and Pop styles. We're inspired by a diverse range of music, sound and emotion. 

I'm also involved in Leicester-based function band "BluBeat" and various other rising artists and groups across the UK.

Previously I've independently supported choirs, played viola in orchestras, performed in jazz trios, done live sets, weddings, new years events and done session work. 

I love D'Angelo, Robert Glasper, Charlie Parker, Einmusik, Kehlani, Masego, Floetry, Tribe Called Quest, Ed Sheeran, and a whole lot more. 

My partner's a seriously talented dancer, and there's a lot we can collaborate on together. 

I'm a big advocate for everyone interested in music to have a broad and complete understanding of everyone involved in bringing music to life. For industry professionals, producers, artists, dj's and others, that means engaging with the music theory. For students and learners, that means learning with the intention of creating something.
